Preparations are underway for next year's Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games), which will be hosted by the Philippines for the fourth time.
The biennial regional multi-sport event, which happens from November 29 to December 10, 2019, will have three main hubs across the country: an under-construction sports complex in Clark, as well as Subic and Manila. Despite the government's initial withdrawal of support, the Philippine SEA Games Organizing Committee seems to have sorted things out...except for one glaring detail.
An image of the supposed "logo" for the 2019 SEA Games has leaked online, and seriously, if this is is really it, we could've done a better job.
Come on, organizing committee chairman Alan Peter Cayetano and team. We're not the only ones amused by the thoughtless concept, as netizens poked fun at what looks like a pile of rubber bands.
