There’s been a brewing uproar online over a certain coffee shop in Thailand. Although there's actually nothing wrong with their coffee. What people are talking about is how the female baristas were dressed.
According to the Metro, a café in Thailand recently used the “sex sells” method to promote their newly-opened business establishment. Apparently, they did this by hiring two busty models, who only wore an apron over their underwear to attract attention.
Café owner Prason Sukkorn then uploaded the promotional materials online, but instead of attracting customers, he got the attention of authorities, who weren’t amused with the sexy stunt.
Due to this, Prason immediately took down the content and apologized. “There was no intention to be sexual or offensive. I posted the pictures online just as a way of marketing the business,” he was quoted as saying.
But it was too late, since he will be facing obscenity charges that could land him in jail for up to five years. Here’s the controversial images that could cost Prason around 100,000 Thai baht (roughly 162,000).
Brew it, baby!
