Ah, we see you're a woman of culture as well, Senator

Nancy Binay has been the target of online hate in the past, so you would expect that she at least has had enough of netizens poking fun at her. Although apparently, that's not the case, with the senator giving credit where credit is due.

In a recent post, the latest from her "Ganda Tips" social media series, Binay says "good memes are hard to come by," which is why she "likes" them whenever she scrolls through one. (Ah, we see you're a woman of culture as well, Senator.) While she is all for having a good laugh, she still reminds her followers to be "mindful" and recognizes that some posts are below the belt and "deserve to be reported and removed."

"There are memes that are done in bad taste, totally derogatory, fragrantly obscene, culturally offensive, rudely disrespectful and go beyond the boundaries of propriety."

We're not quite sure if it's really Binay who is behind the appreciation post or this is just part of premature campaigning, but props to her for being such a good sport and sharing positivity. She has also dished out advice on how to deal with trolls, bots, bashers, and haters.

We won't be suprised if she indeed came up with the idea, though. When asked by ABS-CBN News about her edited photos post-SONA three years ago, Binay replied, "I'm so flattered na ginagawan nila ko ng meme. Mag-research pa sila ng close sa outfit ko, kina-career. For me, yung pag-aksayahan ka ng one minute of their time is parang, parang sino ba ko para pag-aksayahan nila ng oras?"

Good on ya, Nancy.
