Manny Pacquiao, world class champion boxer and Philippine congressman, has succumbed to the cyberworld's criticisms and will close down his Twitter account, reports.
Ever since setting up his account last month, the Twitter world hasn’t been kind to Manny, whose integrity as an athlete and politician has been scorned and mocked for his casual tweets.

Manny, whose Twitter account is named @CongMP, cannot seem to catch a break with everything he says, garnering nags and rants for tweeting about his mother, his day job, and his grammar.

The man tried to reason with them, but haters have no problem saying it in his page, if not to his face.

Thus, he's throwing in the towel. So paying tribute to his month-old Twitter account, we give you five of his most memorable and re-tweetable tweets:

“Its doesn’t matter of the grammar as long they understand the message thanks”
Citing his dismay for the fan travesty his tweets have generated on the social networking site because of his grammar, Pacquiao shouted back with this ironically erroneous sentence. Still the message was clear, so Manny totally got it right in the end. Right on, Pac-Man.

“Tyong lhat pinoy ang slita ntin ay tgalog we should use our language we're nt american, jpan, chna, atbp. They're using there own language"
Admitting that English is not his native tongue, Pacquiao reiterated the importance of Tagalog, even when tweeting. The congressman stressed his point with a follow up tweet: "We should proud in our language that's the real pinoy yan ang tama thank you God Bless everyone.”

“Now I know how to block those haters hehe”
Finding a way to get rid of those grammar critics, Manny published these words for the Twitter world to see. Followers who felt defensive found it ridiculous, while the best of Pacquiao’s supporters simply commended him for this move: block ‘em if you can’t beat ‘em.

"Sorry but Mommy D don't have twitter account so please stop pretending that you're mommy mahiya naman kayo na gumagamit ng iba thank you"
Not aware of the ever-impersonating Twitter culture, he found it offensive that someone has claimed Dionisia Pacquiao’s account. “Kung ako man mahiya akong gumamit ng iba kasi parang wala tayong tiwala sa sarili natin plastic kong tawagin nagtatago sa ibang anyo ty,” he added. We love how he always thanks everyone, no matter the message.

“E di magreklamo ka sa lolo mong panot hahahaha“
After tweeting about watching Ombudsman Merceditas Gutierrez’ impeachment trial and giving his vote on Twitter, followers criticized him for failing to attend congress. He then tweeted this message twice – one addressed towards @momblogger and another to @RAandRat. Funny?
