The show that made Donald Trump a household figure amongst households not considered rich and famous now has an Asian version! High-octane cable network AXN, known for Takeshi Castle-style game shows, along with Survivor and The Apprentice creator Mark Burnett bring to us the tense boardroom drama and compelling "you're fired!" scenes of The Apprentice in our very own regional version, The Apprentice Asia.

Borrowing the role from Trump is Malaysian entrepreneur Tony Fernandes, who was Forbes Asia’s "Businessman of the Year" two years ago. Mr. Fernandes's boardroom cred was boosted by the rapid turnaround he delivered to the previously failing airline company Air Asia. Now, he's all set to play hardball with a select cast of young, bold men and women aspiring to prove their decision-making skills, business acumen, and just how steely their nerves are, in hopes of winning the ultimate prize of being taken under the wing of Fernandes.

Who are these "young, bold men and women" we speak of? Well, it could be you. The show has just sent out a casting call for potential contestants, with the application period starting today, November 15. All entries must be submitted by December 16, midnight, Singapore time. Below is their official job posting:

"We are looking for aspiring and/or successful entrepreneurs with big business ideas, from backgrounds in various enterprises from sales and marketing, real estate, accounting to consulting management."

Criteria For Auditions
- Age of 21 years and above
- Currently living or working in Asia; with a valid passport of at least six months

If you think you fulfill the above criteria, head right on to to download the application form! Interested applicants will be required to fill up the application form and send in a video of maximum four minutes to introduce themselves.

So, think you're a hotshot? Send in your applications now, and you might just become a legit bigshot when the show's over!
