Reggae singer and comedian Blakdyak was found dead inside a room he was renting out in Sampaloc, Manila on Monday night.
Authorities said that Blakdyak's body was discovered by his son around 6 p.m., GMA News Online reports.
The late singer-comedian's son said he grew suspicious after not getting any response from his father, despite attempts from him to call him out of his room which was locked.
He went outside and opened one of the room’s windows and saw his father's naked body with his head covered in a plastic bag.
Initial investigation by police sees no foul play since Blakdyak was alone in the locked room when the incident occurred.
Meanwhile, the security personnel of the building said he noticed that Blakdyak was uneasy the day before since he kept going in and out of his unit.
Blakdyak or Joey Formaran was 46 when he died. He is best known for his hit singles in the late '90s, "Good Boy" and "Modelong Charing," after releasing his album Noon at Ngayon in 1997.
Rest in peace, Good Boy.
