The video, which has already been taken down by the DOH, was supposedly a public service announcement about avoiding teen pregnancy. But the biggest hit so far came in the form of allegations that the video plagiarized the 2013 song “Rum Pum Pum Pum” by the popular K-Pop group f(x). The group's agency, SM Entertainment, wasn't too pleased.

In fact, the agencywhich also handles other popular K-Pop acts such as Super Junior and Girls' Generationhas already threatened to take action. "By no means have we permitted the use of the music, ‘Rum Pum Pum Pum.’ The original publisher of ‘Rum Pum Pum Pum’ confirmed that the music used by the Philippines’ public service campaign in question is indeed plagiarism, so we already started taking action,” said a representative from SM Entertainment to South Korean media outlets. #Ouch

The DOH is yet to issue an official statement regarding the matter. We understand they're probably still too busy handling Typhoon Ruby-related duties, but they shouldn't take their sweet time since continuously keeping mum in this case will make things worse for the government agency.
