Tanauan City Mayor Antonio Halili is back in the news with his crime-shaming antics after he made 11 suspected drug pushers do the infamous "walk of shame."

The suspects were forced into partaking in what was dubbed “Flores de Pusher” even before they were found guilty under the law, GMA News reported.

They were also made to wear a paper tag on their chest and back which bore the words: “Ako’y pusher, wag tularan.”

Some of the suspects readily admitted to the crime, blaming poverty for their wrongdoing. However, others apologetically admitted to their wrongdoing. Halili said there was no way the suspects were innocent since they were caught in the act of committing the crime. He added they have video footage proving that the suspects were indeed involved in illegal drug activities.

This is not the first time that the self-confessed fan of presumptive President Rodrigo Duterte made suspects do a walk of shame in his city.

Last month, Halili gave the same treatment to a suspected rapist who admitted to the crime.
