Authorities have arrested a man who pretended to be a heart specialist after he was accused of raping his male patient in Caloocan City.
The suspect, identified as Jose Norlito de Luna Fruto, was apprehended along with his assistant, James Irvin Tarampi, the Manila Times reported.
As it turns out, the two have already been arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation in 2013 for the same modus operandi.
The suspects have been charged for sexual assault in accordance with Article 266-A of the Revised Penal Code. Fruto was also slapped with an additional indictment for resisting arrest.
The two are facing up to 40 years in jail if proven guilty of the accusations.
