First of all, we hope you are safe and dry, and preferably chilling at home as megastorm #RubyPH ravages the land.
If, however, you're already at the office, and are presumably feeling the misery of #YetAnotherMonday, we hope that this edition of FHM's Best Of The Weekend is enough to give you a glimmer of hope. Prepare your umbrellas and survival kits, gents, tonight's going to be stormy!
1) THE SON GOKU TROPHY OF AWESOMENESS: The first footage of the new DBZ anime is out!
Video via tommda
A couple weeks ago, our otaku radars burst upon receiving the news of the return of iconic villain Frieza in a new DragonBall Z movie. Now, the first footage from the anime flick, which comes out on April 18, 2015 in Japan, has landed on YouTube. It's in Japanese, so the only thing we understood was "Duragon Boru Zeh" and Goku screaming "Frieeeeezaaaaaaaaahhhhh." Goosebumps.
2) THE MOVE OVER PACQUIAO-MAYWEATHER AWARD: Green Ranger calls out CM Punk in UFC debut
Not in a million years did we think that wrestling-champ-turned-MMA-fighter CM Punk would one day be challenged by childhood-hero-turned-MMA-fighter Jason David Frank, aka the Tommy Oliver, aka the Green Ranger. But it's happening.
After the wrestler ditched the WWE, a number of MMA fighters came out and expressed their desire to fight The Punk. The Green Ranger was one of them, who posted this on his IG account:
What's sad is that this has a higher chance of happening than the Pac-Mayweather bout.

3) HEART-STEALER OF THE WEEKEND: This cute cosplayer from Hungary
Searching high and low for the Internet's most heart-melting beauties (actually, we just scrolled around Facebook for a few minutes), we came across this 23-year-old cosplayer from Hungary named Enji Night. This girl, who's into the same thing as November cover girl Myrtle Sarrosa, shall henceforth be known as The Heart-Stealer Of The Weekend, at least until we find a new one next week!
And it certainly doesn't hurt that she cosplays Videl, one of our favorite girls from Dragon Ball Z.

4) THE MICHAEL V. SPOOF OF QUALITY SEAL: Star Wars stars encounter old-people problems in Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer spoof
Our jaws dropped when we saw the trailer for the new Star Wars flick. Now, prepare to laugh at it as American sketch comedy TV show Saturday Night Live reimagines your favorite Star Wars heroes, Luke, Han, and Leia, as old people:
Luke using the force to sort out his daily meds = classic!
5) THE SHINKU HADOUKEN PLAQUE OF APPRECIATION: Capcom releases the first gameplay trailer for Street Fighter V
Oh man, are we on the fifth iteration of the venerable fighting series already? Coming out exclusively for the PS4 and the PC, presumably in 2015, is Street Fighter V. The first gameplay trailer for the said title was released at Sony's PlayStation Experience event held in Las Vegas on December 6 and 7, 2014, U.S. time.
In the clip, we see Street Fighter favorites Ryu and Chun-Li duking it out. Awesome.

6) THE STAN-LEE-IS-JUST-AWESOME BADGE: Stan Lee wants mega Marvel crossover
Comic book superhero crossovers in the Marvel universe happen because only one entity holds the publishing rights. It's far trickier in the movies as different studios such as Sony Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Marvel Studios, and Universal Pictures hold the rights to different characters.
But if it were all up to Marvel Godfather Stan Lee, he'd want Marvel Studios to distribute them all. In an interview at a UCLA event in the U.S., this was Stan's response to that matter, as published by Uproxx.com:
“It’s something that Marvel is very concerned about. It’s very difficult to bring ‘em all together because these characters are so successful and make so much money that the studios that have the rights don’t want to let them go. So that’s something that all the lawyers and all the production companies have to work out. Whether they get it worked out, I don’t know. It is a shame that [Disney]-Marvel can’t distribute every one of them. Because then we could put them all together…in a movie that would make a hundred trillion dollars!”

Is there a petition we can sign? Even if it takes negotiations of Pac-Mayweather proportions, we'd do everything we can just to see the Avengers (rights owned by Marvel Studios) team up with the X-Men (rights owned by 20th Century Fox) in the movies!
7) VIRAL PHOTO OF THE WEEKEND: Leni Robredo is waiting for the bus
Congresswoman Leni Robredo—the wife of former DILG secretary, Jesse Robredo—went viral this weekend as a photo of her waiting for a bus to Naga made the rounds on the Internet.
Fresh from delivering a speech at McKinley Hill in Taguig, Cong. Leni was photographed by a friend as she waited for a bus in Magallanes that would take her home to Bicol. Pinoy netizens took note immediately of Leni's humility, and the picture has since been shared more than 24,000 times. Comments on the page ranged from those praising her "ordinary" ways to those who felt like the picture was far more genuine than this one:
