Ready for the weekend?
Whereas Gilas Pilipinas just finished its stint in the recent 37th William Jones Cup, bagging silver, the beginning of the week also saw the opening of UAAP Season 78. And believe it or not, UP—yes, the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons—is currently ON TOP OF THE STANDINGS with their unblemished 2-0 win-loss record.
It was also the fateful week Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte confirmed that he will not run for president (or any government post, for that matter) in next year's national elections, to the utter dismay of many. And when we thought things couldn't get any worse, motorists and commuters on Tuesday night were stuck in killer traffic, which literally went on for hours.
Approaching the week's end, cooler heads prevailed, thanks to a mouthwatering sneak peek of Andrea Torres' upcoming gravure book, an Internet-breaking bout between Selena Gomez and Kylie Jenner, and the return of Yanet Garcia (and this hilarious Aussie commentator)!
A perfect warm-up for another event-filled weekend, courtesy of this week's edition of the FHM Gimik Guide up ahead!
