We can't quite figure it out why videos of foreigners speaking in the vernacular or even dabbling in local culture always catch our fancy.

Is it because of its peculiarity, or perhaps the satisfaction we get from these people making fools out of themselves? Either way, it never fails to give us good laugh.

A YouTube video recently came out showing two dudes walking the streets of Guadalupe in Makati honing their Tagalog rhetoric by fearlessly talking to bystanders. Interestingly, the pair weren't babbling to the regular local discourse, but took it up a notch by using what we folks call "salitang kalye" or ghetto talk.

The two ghetto-spewing dudes are Filipino-British Brian Wilson (of Juan Direction), and U.S.-born Filipino-Croatian Wil Dasovich, who has recently started a vlog series on the "Art of Tagalog," seen on his YouTube channel, Tsong and Tsonggo.

Not to be left out in the Pinoy-themed clip production, the Bisaya-speaking Caucasian dudes from the Hey Joe Show, also came up with their own video—a sequel to their Signs You Are A Filipino viral hit:
