Someone finally cosplayed the girl from Ghost In The Shell, and it's absolutely perfect.
In his latest shoot, cosplay lensman Jay Tablante (the same dude behind Marian's Jean Grey photo) tapped FHM Cover Girl Chery Ann Kubota to portray Motoko Kusanagi, a sexy gun-toting cyborg from the mid-21st century.
The shoot's concept, Jay says, was inspired by freelance artist Pasquale Qualano, who did a tribute piece on Ghost In A Shell a couple of years ago. Click here if you want to see Pasquale's version.
Of course, this whole thing wouldn't have been possible without the help of Jopie Sanchez (makeup), Allan Montayre (art direction), Riot Inc. (CG imaging), and Mooo Digital Production (digital imaging). Respect, respect.
Thanks for bringing one of our anime crushes to life, Jay. Looking forward to your next cosplay shoot!
