Well, here is an FHM exclusive: Hijo releases their debut video here, on FHM TV! What do you know?!
A little back story: In January—seems so long ago, no?—super band Bamboo split up. But as it goes, when one thing ends, another begins. And here, right here, is a most welcome of beginnings.
Ex-Bamboo members Nathan Azarcon (bassist), Ira Cruz (guitarist), and Vic Mercado (drummer) regrouped with Sago member Junji Lerma and Jay-O Orduna to form... Hijo. The new band has been going around the gig circuit for a few months already, making their collective known outside their usual circle, and showcasing new tunes and surprising people that yes, they've gone to work, pronto.
Here's more where that came from: Hijo has been at it that whoops! They now have a music video for first single "Tamalee." It is directed by the great Jason Tan with Mads Adrias taking care of production duties.
Oh but the good news doesn't end there: You, FHM Nation, get first dibs! That's right, Hijo decided to premiere their music video right here in our own little corner of the universe. So what are you waiting for? Swing by FHM TV now, and earn the distinction of having seen Hijo's debut video, first!
EDIT: Ahh, the excitement killed it. The song is actually called "Tamalee" and not "Tama na Yan" as earlier reported. We apologize to Hijo, to Hijo's fans, and to you dear readers for the misinformation. Hindi na mauulit, peksman! Okay, ituloy ang rakenrol!
