Although he was regarded as one of—if not—the biggest terrors the world has ever seen, Adolf Hitler apparently had something not so terrifying about him.
Citing the book Hitler's Last Day: Minute By Minute by historians Emma Craigie and Jonathan Mayo published last year, news outlets have recently been abuzz with claims that the feared Nazi leader actually had a miniscule penis.
"Hitler himself is believed to have had two forms of genital abnormality: an undescended testicle and a rare condition called penile hypospadias in which the urethra opens on the underside of the penis or, in some cases, on the perineum," an excerpt read.
The perineum is the region between your balls and the anus.
In layman's terms, penile hypospadias is identified with "micro-penis" formation. The condition is nothing to joke about, with those diagnosed having to urinate from a hole at the base of the shaft, instead of through the tip.
Going back to the penile puzzle, Craigie told The Huffington Post that while she really had "no definitive insight" into the growth of the man's sexual organ, other studies back the idea.
"Several sources including Angela Lambert, in her biography of (Hitler's lover) Eva Braun, have suggested that Hitler may have had hypospadias," added Craigie. "He seems to have had injections of bovine testosterone to prepare for sex, whilst she took medication to suppress her periods when staying with him."
It's been long believed that Hitler hated being naked, which had also been associated with his temper tantrums—perhaps this recent discovery offers an explanation.
