Just days after Gerry's Grill announced their Run and Ride Fun run, we get another fun run invite, this time from a leading manufacturer of eco-environmental cars, Hyundai Asia Resources Incorporated (HARI).[firstpara]
Awesome to see all these companies hitting two birds with a fun stone: with such fun runs, they are able to push for health at the same time promote various advocacies.

Where Gerry's Grill looks to help Cancer survivors, Hyundai, through its Accent Run, focuses on Environment.

The Hyundai Accent Run 2 happens on 2 April 2011, Saturday, at the Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

How does it champion the environment? The idea is simple: Each runner gets to donate one (1) tree seedling for the reforestation of many of the Philippines' critical land masses. That's right; all you have to do is run.

There will be two race mileages: a 5-km race for casual splinters and a 10-km route for the more sophisticated runners.

If your wife is the type to do these things and you simply stand on the lines, well lucky you this time. There are 7 recreational booths, Playlist Zones, as Hyundai likes to call them. Apparently, they're based on the seven of the newest and most eco-friendly feature of the all new Hyundai Accent.

Of course on display are other Hyundai cars. They not only seek to represent their best-of-the-breed cars but also, why Hyundai is one of our leading manufacturers of eco-friendly cars.

There are also Car Wellness Campaign happening right beside the Fun Run as well as Road Safety Awareness activities.

Registration to the Hyundai Accent Run 2 is free. It is ongoing from March 1 to 23 at different universities around Manila. You can also register at
