We hope your wallet survived the onslaught of sales we had last week, because there’s definitely a lot of stuff you can do this week as well—some unfortunately, contributing to the further detriment of your wallet’s health. [firstpara] Singapore International Photography Festival
Running from December 11, 2009 to January 9, 2010 is the Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF). This collaboration between SIPF 2008 and Silverlens Gallery brings to you a celebration and exhibition of beautiful photographic works from true camera geniuses.
Every day, the field of photography is growing in our islands, and SIPF, which is “a biennial gathering of minds from around the world with the common pursuit of advancing the art and appreciation of photography,” should only help to hasten this art form’s growth.
SIPF is also a platform, on which talented Southeast Asian photographers get to show the world their talents. The Singapore International Photography Festival happens at the Silverlens Gallery, located at 2F YMC Bldg. II, 2320 Pasong Tamo Ext., Makati City.

On December 11, if you’re hankering to listen to some old school rock and roll from established musicians, then you should head on over to Club Dredd in Libis, Quezon City, where Alamid and The Dawn will be headlining a rockin’ Friday night.
If you’re just looking to chill though, and loud guitars aren’t your type for that night, you can visit Mag:net Katipunan where Extrapolations and Red bring to you their acoustic hour.
