This was confirmed by National Capital Region Police Office chief Dir. Oscar Albayalde to ABS-CBN.
Albayalde also told GMA News that Marcos’ remains are currently being transported through a helicopter from Laoag, Ilocos Norte.
His body is expected to arrive at the LNMB around 11:30 a.m.
On November 8, the Supreme Court (SC) voted 9-5 in favor of allowing the burial.
But this was after the SC issued a status quo ante order halting the burial last August which was extended twice until September.
Marcos died in Hawaii on September 28, 1989 while he was exiled from the Philippines following the People Power revolution.
His remains has since been preserved in the Marcos family mausoleum in Ilocos Norte.
