Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has finally received a degree from the Harvard University after he dropped out from the prestigious institution to build the world’s largest social media platform.

This was after Harvard awarded him an honorary doctor of laws degree in recognition of the 33-year-old billionaire’s awe-inspiring achievements.

Zuckerberg was also given the honor of delivering Harvard’s 2017 commencement speech, where he left a moving message and call to action by highlighting the importance of finding and creating purpose for everyone.


In retrospect, Zuckerberg’s decision to leave Harvard back in 2004 has definitely paid off as he is now one of the wealthiest people in the world with a net worth of $65.5 billion.

Despite this, he remains grounded and hasn’t forgotten his humble beginnings as shown when he recently visited the very room where he created Facebook, which now has nearly 2 billion monthly users.
