Personalities Slam Mocha Uson And Drew Olivar Over Lewd Federalism Video

It's no secret that the current administration is pushing for a switch in our type of government to federalism. Its desire to tweak the way our country is run has of course been met with criticism from political analysts and netizens alike.

And in the most recent live vlog of Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson, things got a little bit out of hand when pro-Duterte blogger, Drew Olivar, performed a dance routine—touching his genitals and chest area in the process—to promote federalism through a jingle entitled "Pepedederalismo." Parody account Malacañang Events and Catering Services trimmed the 55-minute live video to highlight this absurd portion.

Consultative Commitee (Con-com) member and former Senate President Aquilino "Nene" Pimentel Jr. was sought for his reaction on the viral video. He admitted to not yet seeing the video, but emphasized on how he takes his work seriously as one of the people who drafted the federal Charter.

"Hindi naman biro yung aking ginagawa," Pimentel said. "Wala akong pakialam kung sino-sino diyan ang gusto nilang kunin. [...] Demokrasya naman tayo so it's alright. Pero uulitin ko, para sa 'kin ay importante yung magkalat siya ng impormasyon na alam niya yung pinagsasabi niya."

His son and namesake, Senator Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel was more than a little bit hostile against Uson, urging the Asec, to take a leave from work after her partner's lewd dance video.
