Here in the Philippines, employees usually complain about their supervisors for a variety of reasons. Some of it are valid, while others boil down to their personal issues with whoever’s in charge.
But in China, a different kind of boss has been taking the term “power tripping” to a whole new level.
According to the Mirror, a Chinese boss in the brewery machine industry took it upon himself to establish a company rule that all female employees kiss him every morning prior to work.
The women are required to line up from 9 to 9:30 a.m. to plant a kiss on their boss’s lips.
It’s like your morning roll call, only it’s a form of brazen sexual harassment that these female workers have to comply to, albeit against their will just so they could keep their jobs.
Needless to say, the boss is male and has been quoted explaining the bizarre rule as something that can “foster good relationships among colleagues.”
He also said the act of kissing improves his boss-worker relationship with his employees.
However, netizens are having none of this nonsense and have called him out for his absurd actions.
