FHM Nation, let's not ever get tired of thinking about our brothers and sisters in the Visayas, okay?
While we're sure most of you have already done your part to help and be of aid, here's another Yolanda-driven campaign we hope you'll still take part in: #Unselfies.
Launched by BBDO Guerrero, the #Unselfie campaign is a social media-friendly response to the call for relief and aid here in the Philippines. It aims to mobilize support for the victims by having people post a photo of themselves holding a paper with a message that encourages others to help out.
To give you an idea, November 2013 FHM Online Babe Karen Bordador demonstrates what an #Unselfie should look like:
"The idea simply calls on people to write a simple donation call to action such as Supportunicef.org/Philippines or Redcross.org.ph/donatenow on a sheet of paper—with the hashtag #Unselfie," explains David Guerrero, creative chairman of BBDO Guerrero. "It will only take a minute, but it will go a long way. Let's do the right thing and help out the millions who are still in need."
See, it's that effortless. Finally, you now can continue posting selfies post-Yolanda without getting any flak from your fellow netizens! Win-win, di ba?!
So here's what's going to happen: Let's put our trending powers to good use and make sure this campaign goes viral. But we're going to need you to back us up here, all 2.2 million of you!
We asked several FHM Babes to kick things off on our behalf. But we're counting on all of you to upload your own #Unselfie on your social media account/s! Scroll down to view their contributions!
We stole Toni Rose Maniago from hubby Papa Jack for a bit and had her send us this #Unselfie photo. Papa Jack was like, "Go lang ng go!"
In exchange for her #Unselfie, Angel Malit required all of us to check out her web show One Night Stand every Thursday, 9 p.m. to 11.pm. on Flippish.com. Deal?
Alex Smith, who was our FHM Girlfriend of the Month back in January 2012, also took the time to send us her own version of the #Unselfie. Effort sa pagkakasulat!
She says her internet connection at home is killing her at the moment, but Aica Sy is not about to miss out on the opportunity to do something good. Sorry for the hassle, darling! We appreciate it.
Former FHM 100% Hottie Nikki Palma also wants to send her lovin' to the victims of Yolanda. Hugs and kisses, mga kapatid! Hope this helps.
FHM babe Jelai Andres wants you to look her in the eye and tell her that she's not serious about showing support for our unfortunate brothers and sisters in Leyte.
Jenz Jardeleza had to borrow her favorite fast food joint's paper place mat just so she could deliver her message.
August 2013 FHM 100% Hottie Hazel Feliciano skipped the make-up because she wants to make one thing perfectly clear: Our kababayans need our help!
Amidst those cute, innocent eyes, Lorraine de Jesus fully knows what's going on in the Visayas at the moment.
Let's keep this going, guys! Go ahead and upload an #Unselfie on Facebook. Thank you in advance!
