If you’ve lost your smartphone that costs over P20,000 due to your own carelessness you’ll probably feel bad. That is until it miraculously gets returned to you after a few days of sulking.
So you’re supposed to feel really grateful to the person who returned it, right?
Apparently, the being grateful part doesn’t occur all the time though. The opposite actually happened during the show of broadcast journalist Raffy Tulfo.
During his show, Tulfo invited the owner of the lost smartphone who was introduced as a nurse and Roberto Elliot, the taxi driver who went out of his way to return the phone.
The nurse initially thanked Elliot but started complaining right after, saying that he should have returned his phone earlier.
Tulfo asked why he was acting that way instead of just being grateful and the nurse explained that he already had his iPhone remotely deactivated and expected it to be returned earlier since his transactions have already been affected.
This was when Tulfo lost his top and started lambasting the nurse.
“This is the first time sa history ng Sumbungan ng Bayan na sa halip na kayo’y magpasalamat kayo po ay nagagalit pa. Ano ho ba ng gusto niyo palabasin?” Tulfo asked.
You can check out the full five-minute clip below to see how Tulfo schooled the nurse on basic gratitude etiquette.
