Street Fighter IV Settles The Mayweather Vs. Rousey Debate Once And For All

Ronda Rousey and Floyd Mayweather are far from BFFsa look at their history of verbal spats will show this. The two have been going at it with words for some time now, which has earned the gorgeous and talented MMA fighter a few fans for herself from the Money May Haters Club.

Both are also extremely skilled fighters. Too bad we'll probably won't see 'em settle their disputes with fists, elbows, and kicks due to that little thing called gender, among others. (But we're living in an increasingly progressive time, and we do believe Rowdy Rousey can more than hold her own so, who knows?)

We'll so totally pay for a Rousey-Mayweather clash. Until then, let us introduce you to the next best thing: a virtual face-off between the two fighters.



The awesome clip is the creation of YouTuber Richie Branson, who modded the game Street Fighter IV to produce the fictional match. He also created custom skins for the two fighters to make things look more legit. He then simulated the fight (his PC controlled both characters) for fairness' sake. In the end, a Rousey kick finished off Mayweather (who looked like he should be fighting in the heavyweight class in the video) in the super close fight.

You know what would be more awesome? If Rousey really has a "Gyro Drive Smasher" move in real life! Her 34-second destruction of Bethe Correa would look like child's play if she did.
