Have you heard? The glammed-up hottie you're seeing below is wanted by the po-po! As in she'll end up locked up behind bars when authorities find her! We ain't down with that, brah!

Sarah Lahbati Wanted
Said hottie in question is former GMA-7 contract artist Sarah Lahbati, perhaps best known for her well-publicized relationship with actor Richard Gutierrez. Scratch that. Sarah is best known for allegedly defying her mother network by leaving for Switzerland without the approval of her management and employers last December. That and a slew of other things (i.e. rumors about walking out of sets and avoiding management contracts).

"I am not treated well and haven't been treated well," Sarah once tweeted, adding that her former network failed to provide compensation for some of the movie and television projects she did last year. "In other words, I'm treated like shit." GMA-7, in response, filed a civil case against Sarah for breach of contract. "I should be the one filing the case. Extreme!" she adds.

Here's where it gets nasty: A warrant for Sarah's arrest has now been issued by the Makati City Regional Trial Court, this is in connection with Ms. Lahbati's alleged libelous tweets against Atty. Annette Gozon-Abrogar, president of GMA Films. "The court has found probable cause on the crime of libel against Sarah Lahbati," says Gozon-Abrogar's lawyer, Atty. Gener Asuncion. The Makati City prosecutors insist that Sarah failed to provide any evidence that her controversial statements were made in good faith, thus the issuance of a warrant.

While said warrant challenges Sarah to surrender to authorities, it is only enforceable within Philippine territory. As of press time, it is believed she's currently pursuing her studies in Switzerland, which means the actress could opt to stay abroad until the duration of the warrant expires. But then again, hiding will not do her name any good.

"My advice for Sarah is to face the court and face the charges against her," explains Asuncion. "Let her rebut the accusation of Attorney Abrogar." For your information, electronic libel, under Philippine law, is punishable by imprisonment of up to six years (12 years maximum), so the Swiss-Pinay must indeed address this issue before it worsens. But Sarah's a big girl; she knows what to do.

Alas, a babe of her stature does not deserve this kind of treatment. Just check out the video below. Ipapakulong niyo ba 'to?
