For all it's worth, we hope all this mudslinging our politicos are doing will lead us to something—anything—that can help solve the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) scam. If not, then they've just again proven their incompetence. God help the Philippines!
During his speech last Monday, Senator Bong "Kap" Revilla accused President Aquino of personally interfering in the impeachment trial of former Chief Justice Renato Corona in 2012. The celebrity-turned-senator said that P-Noy's move was a danger to democracy. He shared his belief that the president will also try to dictate on the Ombudsman as to how to resolve the plunder cases against him.
"For the record, Mr. President, I have nothing to do with this scam. Or with Janet Lim Napoles. Or those whistleblowers," proclaimed Sen. Revilla. "I have no dealings or transactions with them." He then went on to cite that one of the whistleblowers, Benhur Luy, forged his signature on the PDAF documents. The senator made us wait five months for that tiny bit of information (which, by the way, we already know).
So what's P-Noy got to say about Revilla's accusation? Scroll down to see the word wars between these two!
