El Capitan Books
David Lapham is sick, in a sort of Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez-ish way. It’s grim, it’s bloody, and damn well not for children, Stray Bullet’s first issue has a hitman falling in love with the corpse which he’s supposed to be disposing. The second issue has grade-school children beating each other to the death. Seemingly standalone stories tie up in darkly brilliant ways. -
