Lourd Ernest de Veyra is a man we cannot not listen to – be it through Radioactive, his mockumentary show on TV5, or most notably, that intrepid blog he does in Spot.ph called This is a Crazy Planets.

We suppose a lot of people feel the same; they want to be able to read his blog as they do say FHM, which pretty much means accompanying them all the way to the john. Hence, a compilation of select pieces from the aforementioned blog.

With every rant-downs accompanied with a painstaking illustrations made by Warren Espejo, Planets discusses every outstanding national issue there was since Lourd’s association with Spot.ph sufficed in 2009.

The Best of This is a Crazy Planets will have its official book launch tonight, June 23, at Route 196 in 196 Katipunan Avenue. Lourd himself will read lines from his hilarious book and perform with the Radioactive Sago Project, so tonight could be really awesome.

In the meantime, our fave five excerpts from the book for everyone’s amusement. Enjoy!
