The smartest advice we could give you this week would be to forgo your gimik, save for next week’s Valentine weekend, and make the missus, the girlfriend and/or the mistress happy. [firstpara] But we’re going to have to advise you to not follow that advice, because there’s a lot in store for you this weekend that you can’t miss!

Rent in Manila
If you’re bored of all the movies, maybe you should try catching a play. There’s an awesome one running right now, and it goes by the name Rent.
Rent is a well-regarded musical from Broadway that is famous for fusing elements of “rock, character and story like no other musical before.”
It made a big splash 5 years ago when it was first performed here, and now that it’s back, you’d do well to see what the buzz is all about. Feel what it’s like to be a Renaissance man for once.
