Just recently, Vice President Jejomar Binay was (yet again) the accused, this time for trying to extort money from now-detained businessman Delfin Lee in exchange for dropping an estafa case against him.
Hear out Lee's sworn statement, as read by his lawyer, Atty. Willie Rivera, at a Senate Blue Ribbon Committee probe last April 14:
Woah. That's a lot of dough.
And while Binay's camp has already denied the allegation—and even wished for an anti-bullying law for public officials—the Ombudsman saying things like these about some of his family members certainly don't help his cause:
Even when he was still mayor of Makati for who-knows-how-many years, countless corruption allegations have been thrown in the face of the elder Binay. That is why as time goes by, as we, including him, have gotten used to it the more and more he is also looking like—wait for it—a Filipino action movie kontrabida.
Think about it...
You need to be either the big boss of a huge company/organization or be a high-ranking government/police official to qualify for the villain position. Interestingly, the Veep is both!

The types revered kontrabida Paquito Diaz plays in FPJ's films: a spoiled power tripper who comes crawling back to daddy/tito/ninong when worst comes worst. (DISCLAIMER: We are referring to the film roles)
