In last week’s episode (October 13) of The Correspondents, journalist Karen Davila looked into the relation between urban planning and the disastrous flood that claimed more than 300 lives nearly a month ago. Much like the massive flooding that typhoon Ondoy brought last September 26, the episode opened a lot of people to the reality that something is most definitely wrong.
