Besides the annual FHM Bikini Heaven, there are two other things we look forward to every summer: man-kini shopping and flying to the Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS) as one of Ford’s very lucky (read: giddy) Philippine media delegates!
This is where wheeled glory happens
The year 2013 isn’t different, and we sure pissed in our pants (mom got really mad!) as this time, Ford unveiled the all-new 1.0L EcoBoost-powered Ford Fiesta and the Ford EcoSport, a 1.5-liter crossover SUV that’s sure to shake up the auto industry when it reaches our shores in the fourth quarter of this year.
The new Ford Ecosport
...and here's the all-new Ford Fiesta
Our apologies for not giving you an “authoritative” review of them yet, but what we can tell you thus far is that the EcoSport is like a Ford Fiesta on a dangerous dosage of Cherifer, and that it will be priced very competitively against most SUVs in the market today. In short, you are going to buy one and you are so going to take us for a ride.
The size and magnitude of the 34th BIMS had us in awe. Imagine five or seven halls of the World Trade Center occupied. All the cars we could ever dream of having were there—and boy, were the Thai models all purdy!
We call these girls the BIMS Vixens!
So when, after interviews with notable Ford execs (including no less than Ford Motor Company president and CEO Alan Mulally), our friends from Ford Philippines told us that we were “free to roam around,” we didn’t waste time scampering toward the other end of the hall and taking a snapshot of every car show model we spotted along the way—like most of you probably did during last week’s Manila International Auto Show.

And that's how we came up with the following pictures of our favorite part of BIMS: the Thai models, many of whom look like our very own Pinay FHM babes! Click through the gallery below and see what we mean.
