Chevrolet is one of the most illustrious American car brands in the motoring industry, and it's celebrating its 100th anniversary this month. Hurray, a whole century!
Of course Top Gear Philippines will celebrate! Top Gear calling on all graphic artists and car enthusiasts to celebrate this momentous occasion by joining “Design the Top Gear Race Spark" contest. It's a design competition made by TGP and Chevrolet Philippines in partnership with Castrol Philippines, Concept One, SpeedLab, H&R and Icon Graphics.
The challenge is quite simple: come up with an awesome design for the exterior livery of the Chevrolet Spark, assuming Top Gear uses it as the official vehicle of their racing team. To make it even simpler for y’all, how should a Top Gear Racing Spark look like?

Making up the panel of judges are visual artist and sculptor Reg Yuson; Top Gear Philippines art director Jaykee Evangelista; Manila Times motoring editor and art director Brian Afuang; and Chevrolet regional officer Martin Apfel. The winners will be decided by judging and online voting.
Here’s the fun part: the top winning design will be applied to an actual racing Spark, which will be displayed at various malls tours. We couldn’t think of a more creative way to tell everyone how exceptionally awesome you are, let alone your graphic designing skills. And of course, cash prizes for the top placers. Pogi points!
Materials for the design contest are available for download from November 11 to December 8, 2011. Period of entry submission is from November 14 to December 5, 2011. Online voting is from December 6 to 15, 2011.
