Pay tribute to Pinay rock royalties
While no foreign acts will be landing in one of our concert venues this weekend, we’re more than hyped up for what’s in store this Friday night. Two of the country’s most sought-after frontwomen in OPM and Pinoy rock will be joining forces on August 5, at Area 05 in Tomas Morato Ave. Quezon City in an event called The Goddesses of Rock: Barbie Almalbis and Kitchie Nadal.

If you’ve ever sung along to Kitchie’s “Huwag na Huwag Mong Sasabihin” or to Barbie’s “Tabing Ilog,” then this is a concert you can’t miss. And hey, we’ve had a crush on these musicians since the start, so it’s nice to see them together in concert again.

The show also features other exciting bands, ShutEyeView, Yes Ma’am(from the Ateneo Musicians’ Pool) and Stories of Now.
