Another weekend is upon us, so switch your leather kicks for some sneaks, and relax those neck muscles. We’re in for a rocking treat. [firstpara]

Coachella at Rockwell
This season’s most unique bazaar happens as Coachella sets up shop in Rockwell.

The best bargains, the coolest finds, plus an overdose of art and music can be had at this event that happens from April 8 to 10, 12 noon to 12 midnight.

There will also be free Photobooth and Festive Caricatures courtesy of Grappiks Manila to add to the overall fun. Entrance fee is just 100 pesos.

When the Strings Come Off: An Exhibit by Nikita Dancel
For those in the know, Nikita is Ebe's uber cute wifey. But those in the know, also know she isn't just Ebe's uber supportive wife.

Nikita is an artist, who will, incidentally hold an exhibit at Pablo Gallery over at Cubao X. Her illustrations and prints will be on display starting Saturday, April 9 at Pablo Cubao X. See you there!

Urbandub: Sending A Message concert
Who says rock is dead? Urbandub, modern rock heroes will be serving up another rocking show on April 8, 7 PM at The Music Museum Grand Hall, Greenhills Promenade, San Juan City.

They’ll be launching their latest single, “Sending A Message,” and playing their biggest hits that night! A can’t miss for all Urbandub fans out there. Check out the official music video for “Sending A Message” here.

The band's very first TeeDee, designed by Nick Automatic's Nicolo Nimor, will also be launched at the event.
Ticket prices are P1,300, P1,000, and P700.

Gates open at 6 p.m.

Have yourself a B-Side Weekend
On Friday, April 8, check out Dubplate Manila with Pinch at B-Side, The Collective, in Makati City, 9 p.m. The show will be featuring Don P, Mulan, Red-I, Soulflower, and special guest Pinch. Door charge is P200.

On Saturday, April 9, B-Side will host Juan Pablo Dream's farewell gig. You heard that right. our favorite mod squad is saying buh-bye. The gig, rightly called "Going to a Nice Place" will start at 9pm. The Camerawalls and Popseeds will be joining them. All goodbyes are sad, we know, but if there's anything we learned from JPD (remember their gigs at Route, celebrating Mondays?), there's always a reason for a good time.

Sunday night at B-Side is going to be rocking as well as Irie Sunday at B-Side: Ska-Irie Party happens featuring Coffeebreak Island, Strayguns, Red-I, Don P, Takashi, Tatsuki, Papadom, and Greedy P.Entrance is free. No cover charge.

Gig Galore
Over at 70s Bistro, you can catch The Jerks on April 8, while Session Road plays on the next night.

Saguijo has a busy weekend ahead too as Indiemand/Union of Sound Presents Miguel Escueta "Now It Starts" Tour with 18th Issue, Banzai 7, Mr. Bones and The Boneyard Circus, Charlie, Dhruva Tara, Espiya, Maryzark, Shelterr, Sven, and Urie's Attack on April 8. On the next night, it’s a Revolver production with Chicosci, Not So Fast, Silent Sanctuary, Stonefree, Tanya Markova, Techy Romantics, and more.

Live A.I.D.S. 27: Jokebox Musical
Looking for some LOL-time? Then catch Live A.I.D.S. 27: Jokebox Musical from April 9 to 11 at Abelardo Hall, College of Music, University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City. Inspired by Wizard of Oz, the show is a parody of the current state of Philippine showbiz filled with political satires and social commentaries courtesy of the Live A.I.D.S. crew.
