We have the concerts and film festivals populating our to-do lists this weekend, but none is as much awaited as the mega-fight you’ve probably heard of happening this Sunday.

Pacquiao – Marquez III
Marquez has been talking loud and proud. He won his two previous fights against Manny he says—a claim that Manny doesn’t find all that cute. In this third fight, which happens on November 13, Manny will finally get a chance to shut the Mexican up for good. Marquez, well, he’s got fighting spirit, but it’s going to take some ultra-powerful secret weapon for him to steal this one from a pumped Pacman.

Go on a movie trip

Taking place at the Shangri-La Plaza Cineplex from November 09 to 15 is Cinema One Originals’ Digital Film Festival. This year’s version of the annual film fest is set to feature 10 flicks, chosen to represent  the best of the local indie film industry. You can check out their Facebook page or you can tune in to Cinema One for screening information and more details.
