The wrestling community mourns the untimely passing of one of the World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) former stars, Chyna. She was 45.

Her official social media accounts confirmed the news earlier today:

Contemporaries offered condolences for their fallen colleague.

TMZ reported that Chyna was found dead Wednesday evening (US time) at her home in Redondo Beach, California. Authorities are looking into a "possible (drug) overdose" as the cause of her demise.


Arguably the most dominant female wrestler the professional wrestling company has seen (Just look at those shoulders), Chyna kicked off her WWE career by teaming up with Triple H, later joining the infamous stable, D-Generation X. She went on to have an impressive and historic singles run, capturing the Women's Championship and even the Intercontinental Championship, a belt that, for the most part, stays in the hands of the opposite sex.

Rest now, Ninth Wonder of the World. You will be missed.
