Free agent Isaiah Thomas just signed with the Denver Nuggets for a one-year veteran's minimum, which, if you don't know, is $2 million. There have been rumors the past weeks that Thomas will sign with the Orlando Magic, but now those are officially dead.
Many fans had mixed reactions as to what this means for Isaiah Thomas as a player. Although it's safe to say that the Nuggets is the fresh start that I.T. needs. He won't be so pressured to put the team on his back because he won't be playing in the starting line-up anymore, much more be the star. Instead, he'll be providing veteran knowledge to a young team.
At just 29, it's weird to call Thomas a veteran, especially considering the career he had when he led the Celtics to the playoffs during his time there. SportsCenter even went as far as stalking I.T. on his Instagram, and this is what they got:
