The greatest claim to shame that a person can ever say about himself is being dim-witted enough to be conned. Only a passing lapse in your common sense allows wily individuals to take advantage of you—and empowers your friends to never let you live it down for the rest of your life.
Even Hollywood celebrities aren’t spared the embarrassment of being duped. Case in point is The Usual Suspects and American Beauty star Kevin Spacey. Just this April, he was walking his dog in a park in south London when a teenage boy stole his mobile phone. He told the police that the kid mugged him. His head was bleeding profusely when he was brought to the hospital.
