You’ve sure come a long way to see us here at FHM. So tell us about yourself.
I’ve been around the world for modeling and I’ve been here for three months already. I’m leaving for Thailand soon. I think I started modeling when I was 16 years old, now I’m 18.

Wow, you’ve certainly done a lot for a young girl! Are you studying right now?
Yes, I’m in college in Brazil, but I stopped so I could travel. I’m doing biology and chemistry. I’m just starting because I’m 18, just finished high school. I went at 17 and everyone was, like, “You’re so young to be in college!” So I started working and stopped school because I couldn’t do both things.

Does that mean you’re an academic kind of girl?
Yes, ha ha!

But chemistry and biology? That’s so...difficult!
Yes, no one expects or believes that, ha ha! It’s my whole family; all of us love science and that kind of stuff. That’s what I like. I like to say I’m a model but I can do whatever you want.

Do you get the “dumb model” stereotype a lot?
You know, you never expect a model to know chemistry, ha ha!

They don’t know what they’re missing. How did you find our shoot today?
You guys are really, really kind. It’s comfortable to shoot with you. It was fast and nice, the makeup and everything. Really good.

Are you enjoying the Philippines?
The Philippines is such a good place, you have beautiful beaches. I can honestly say your beaches are better than the ones in Brazil, ha ha! And you guys are really friendly.

We try our best. Where have you been besides Manila?
I’ve been to Boracay, Bohol, Tagaytay, Batangas. I really like it. I’m here for the rest of this month, then I’m leaving. I’m just going to stay three months in Thailand then I’m going back to Brazil to
study.

Let’s talk about men. Do they approach you more here in the Philippines?
No, you guys are shyer than the men in Brazil.

Why, what’s it like in Brazil?
I used to say that we Brazilians learn with the worst kind of guys, so we can handle any guy after that, ha ha! Because they are so charming, they make you believe them and it’s not true. Here in the Philippines, some guys approach but it’s okay. The men are really nice, I’ve made some friends.

What do you look for in a guy?
I never look for beautiful guys because I’m the jealous type. I always look for guys who I can talk to. I really like to have a good talk and spend time together. I like funny guys. I’m a boring person so I like the one that makes me laugh all the time and makes me feel happy, that’s it. A good heart and a faithful person, that’s it.

Define a “beautiful guy.”
There are a lot of guys that I think are beautiful. I like brown hair, white skin and green eyes, I think that’s the best. I never liked blondes.

You say you’re a boring person. Does that mean you don’t like to go out much?
I always take everything seriously, that’s why I say I’m a boring person. But I really like to party and enjoy everything. But it’s my sign, I’m Virgo so I like everything organized.

What’s a perfect date for a boring girl then?
I can be a nice girl, ha ha! A perfect date— well, I don’t really like expensive things. You can just go to the beach and stay there. If you’re with the right person, that’s all. Just find a beautiful place, expensive or not. Just go to a nice place and make each other feel special.

What does it take to make you feel special?
When you’re in love and the person is really in love with you, too, you feel special. That’s all, I think
