You are obviously a model.
I’ve been modeling for five years. I do photo shoots and fashion shows as well. Photographers usually call me when they do workshops because I pose with passion.
What was going through your mind during this shoot?
I was thinking that while I still have a good body and a pretty face, why not show it to the world? It’s also an honor to work with these people (at the shoot) because they are pretty famous in their field. And when I’m older, I’ll be proud to say that I’ve been in FHM. Not all models here in Davao have had this opportunity.
So should we remedy that situation by doing more shoots in Davao?
I would say yes because while Manila girls might look prettier with clothes on compared to pretty girls in Davao, if you see them in their bikinis they look more beautiful and sexier than if they had
An interesting observation. Where else is Davao better than Manila?
In Davao there is peace and order. The police are visible; you can use your phone in public without fear of it getting snatched. You can safely go home late in a jeep or taxi. Taxis are cheaper, you can eat
buffets with a hundred pesos and you can even drink water straight from the faucet. Outland adventures are everywhere for cheaper, like zip lines, wakeboarding and mountain climbing. And Samal Island is close by, so you can enjoy the white sand and blue water.
You mentioned some adventurous activities. We take it you’re not a girly girl?
Well, in terms of fashion I’m girly but my attitude is boyish. You can bring me to eat street food or do outland adventures. I’m a cowboy because I adjust to situations well.
We also found out that you are still in school. How is that working out for you?
I’m a senior at Ateneo de Davao
University, taking up Human Resource Management. I like it because you deal with people who provide good employer-employee relationship, welfare, protection and satisfaction. A company’s goals are reachable when workers are satisfied and when they feel that they are part of the company.
Spoken like a true HR student. But what do you do on weekends?
I love parties. If I have nothing to do the next day I would probably stay out late and ask my friends to drink with me. It’s fun to see how one’s behavior changes when drunk. Some people forget who
they are and act weird, and you can’t hide what you are when alcohol starts to control your mind.
