Have you ever been over here for summer?
Not yet, but I really want to visit the Philippines and experience the food, culture, beaches, and people. My recent roommate was Filipino but she got pregnant and had to move out to a bigger place. She was a really good cook! I love food and I know Filipino cuisine has a lot of similarities to Chinese. Now that I am thinking about food, I can really go for some empanadas and lumpia right now!
Aside from modeling, you mentioned that you wear a lot of hats.
Yes! At the moment, I work from home beautifying ladies as a makeup and eyelash technician. I love making women feel good about themselves when they look in the mirror. I’ve had many different occupations—from being in an office nine to five to booking models and dancers. I needed a job that would let me make my own hours so I can travel and run out for auditions or meetings when I choose. I also help my parents out at their company, which is into wholesale food and produce. I work sales for them.
Interesting! Do you have any special selling techniques, if you know what we mean? How do you convince people that your fruit is the best fruit?
No, ha ha! What I do for the company is go out and meet with potential clients and show them a price list. If they are not happy, I price match or get the big boss, my father, to close the deal.
What part of yourself are you most proud of?
I believe my best assets are my hair and skin! I have fairly even skin and my hair is very long and thick.
Does feeling princess-y involve some spoiling from our part?
It doesn’t necessarily mean special treatment. It can be as simple as being a gentleman and opening doors, or surprising me with anything that he has learned about me–that’s the most important, paying attention to what I’m interested in. And of course food! I love eating–especially dessert, ha ha!
