How do you feel about your first FHM shoot?
I was actually very, very excited to do it, because it’s a sexy magazine. [The shoot] felt good, I loved working with the people today. It was really nice and the clothes were really nice. I think no matter what shoot you do, you have to go in and project your own self. If I want it to be sexy-classy, then it’s going to be sexy-classy. It really depends on the model and on what they exude.
Very well said. Did you practice a lot for the Q&A portion of the pageant?
We didn’t really have a question and answer during the [coronation] night. We were questioned in the pre judging. My question was, “What sets Miss Hawaiian Tropic apart from other bikini pageants?” and I said: “It doesn’t have any, it doesn’t discriminate against anything. You can be married, you can have children, any age, just as long as you’re maintaining the body that is healthy, you look after yourself, and you also have the brain.”
