There’s a fair chance that you’ve already crushed on this month’s #NewCrush, Tricia Santos.
We’ll let you in on a couple of clues. Like FHM’s cosplay princess, Myrtle Sarrosa, the lively and candid Tricia once lived in a house that featured a sentient voice that made its inhabitants do a number of strange chores and odd things. We’re talking about the Pinoy Big Brother house, in which Tricia resided in for the show’s 2010 “Teen Clash” edition. If you had tuned in, Tricia was one of the more popular characters in that season, with her strong, forthright yet colorful personality allowing her to stand out.
Clue number two: Like our favourite volley-belles Rachel Ann Daquis, Jed Montero, Melissa Gohing, Abby Praca and Michelle Datuin, volleyball has become Tricia’s calling. Three years after her stint in PBB, Tricia joined the UST Golden Tigresses as the team’s open hitter, where she continues to play while finishing her degree in Psychology.
Today though, all these things take a backseat momentarily as we fix our gaze on this lovely girl. Just as vivacious as some of you may remember her to be, the Davaoena lit up the room effortlessly during this shoot.
At first, it was the fair skin that made it hard to take your eyes off her. Moments later, you’d find yourself drawn to her stories of young love and juvenile mischief. And when you weren’t nodding to her tales, you inevitably find yourself unable to not look at her eyes. Especially when she’s in front of the camera. While some find it impossible to move naturally in front of the camera (especially when it’s an FHM shoot), Tricia showed us the ability to make the photographer follow her every move as opposed to the photographer directing every pose.
It was magical, and how we wish that you were there to see it. Which bring us to the photos below, taken so you could share in the delight that is Tricia.
Hey, Big Brother, can we give Tricia another chance in your house so we could crush on the 19-year-old all over again on TV? Love can be sweeter the second time around, after all.

Hear that John Mayer look-alikes? Time to bust out that guitar and sing some songs for her.
